Main goal of NGO

NGO Civitas per populi based at Faculty of Architecture, Technical University at Brno. This NGO was established in February 2002 as an independent non-governmental organization. Its goals are:

1. Support of education in branches influencing urban environment forming in sense of healthy living and housing city environment. These branches are especially urbanism, architecture, garden architecture, engineering, social geography, sociology, psychology, public administrations and others. This aim will be realized mainly through organizing educational events (lectures, lecture cycles, summer schools, excursions and study travels, stages and stipendium stays...) for expert society and students of branches hereinbefore.

2. Development of deeper and wider citizen participation in process of urban and architectural design and in region and town planning process. This will be realized through organizing events (planning weekends, interactive exhibitions,...) involving public society to planning process.
